    Surrounded by snowcapped mountains and located on the banks of the upper Kenai River, the Kenai Riverside Lodge comprises an original log lodge and 16 cozy guest cabins—each with private bath. After a day of activity, relax on the riverside deck or enjoy a wood-fired sauna before heading to the main lodge for appetizers and dinner. There’s no TV or internet, but plenty of authentic Alaskan ambience.

This 4-day/ 3-night post-cruise excursion is designed for people who want to get a taste of real Alaskan sport fishing. The Kenai River boasts incredible stocks (depending on the season) of sockeye, king, and silver salmon, Alaska rainbow trout, and Dolly Varden.

Alaska Pre/Post Cruise Trip Fishing

Day 1
After disembarking from your cruise ship, you will be driven to Cooper Landing to your lodge for the next three nights. Once there, settle in and explore the grounds and choose between a two-hour float or hike before dinner. You might also want to relax on the riverside deck or visit the wood-fired sauna before bed, after you meet with the Fishing Director to talk about the next two days. Days 2 & 3
There are plenty of options at the Lodge to hike, raft, attend naturalist programs, or stroll nature trails. However, we anticipate you’ll want to spend your time fishing. Expert guides are on hand to take you onto the Kenai River, where you can expect up to 8 hours fishing for salmon, the biggest rainbow trout you’ve ever seen, and colorful Dolly Varden. Fly-fishing is available on the Upper Kenai. Picnic lunches will be prepared, with dinner served at the main lodge. Accommodations are at the Kenai River Sportfishing Lodge, Cabin

Day 4
Your driver will transport you from the hotel to Anchorage International Airport via the scenic Seward Highway, a drive of approximately three hours. Safe travels!
