Vancouver for the Kids
This tour will show you the magic of Vancouver that is sure to impress the kids. See the city in a fun way and not even know that you’re learning. You’ll experience the Totem Poles in Stanley Park and find out more about the West Coast Native Culture, as you drive around the park and look for seabirds, rabbits, squirrels and even seals. The Kids Market, a former paint factory, has 25 shops that sell items such as wooden toys, children’s art supplies, colorful kites, lifelike puppets, stuffed animals, baby things, glitzy costumes, and handmade clothes. There’s also a giant indoor play area called the Adventure Zone. A 50-year-old Canadian Pacific caboose (now a bakery for dogs & cats) greets visitors at the front entrance. You’ll finish the tour at the Casa de Gelato with over 200 flavors of frozen homemade treats.

Beluga Encounter & North Shore Fun
Your day will start with a Beluga Encounter at the Vancouver Aquarium where you will come face-to-face with a Beluga whale in a hands-on, interactive and sometimes splashy, training session! On this adventure, you will have the unique opportunity to touch the whales and feed them a fishy snack, while discovering more about their curious behavior.
The Beluga Encounter offers visitors an insider’s glimpse at the amazing ways that Belugas are able to survive in the harsh Arctic environment.
After your encounter, you will head to the North Shore which offers an extraordinary blend of urban charm, wilderness, attractions, parks and beaches. Some of the best views of Vancouver are from the North Shore. You’ll board the gondola for a breathtaking eight-minute ascent to the 1128m (3,700ft) summit of Grouse Mountain. Capilano Suspension Bridge represents wilderness a few minutes from the downtown core.
Above the rushing waters of the Capilano River you will be able to cross the 137m (450ft) long suspension bridge 70m (230ft) above the river to the Treetop Adventure that awaits on the other side, a wondrous canopy walkway that takes you 24m (80ft) above the forest floor amid 41-91m (135-300ft) Douglas firs. The Capilano Fish Hatchery has excellent glass-windowed displays of the life cycle of the Pacific salmon. You look right into the river to see the living fish.
A last stop at Lonsdale Quay Market offers culinary delights and quaint shops. Return to the city across the beautiful Lion’s Gate Bridge and the Stanley Park Causeway.

Day Tour to Victoria by Land & Sea

Your day begins with a short drive (30 minutes) to the Tsawwassen Ferry Terminal where you will embark on a scenic 90 minute ferry ride through the spectacular Gulf Islands to Vancouver Island (you can have breakfast on board if you wish) – watch out for wildlife as you may see whales, porpoises and seabirds in the Strait of Georgia.
