This morning you’ll enjoy a private rainforest walk, discovering Cheakamus Lake Provincial Park, one of the oldest, rarest, and most endangered coastal rainforests in the world. The afternoon is yours to spend at leisure. Unwind at Vida spa with an exclusive treatment, swing your clubs on the green, or hang from a zip-line, whizzing through the trees.

The third day is yours to spend at leisure. Walk in the footsteps of the world’s greatest athletes, exploring the village that played host to the 2010 Winter Olympics. Observe the local black bears, visiting bear dens and learning about the flora and fauna native to the area. Hike the many trails, from leisurely to challenging! Accommodations are at the Fairmont Château Whistler in a Fairmont Gold Room.

4-5 | FAIRMONT EMPRESS, VICTORIA, BC

After breakfast you’ll depart Whistler and drive and ferry to Victoria, where you’ll drop off your rental car. The quaint capital is full of charm, with plenty to explore. One of the oldest cities in the Pacific Northwest, you won’t be able to miss the two oldest landmarks – the Legislative buildings and the Empress Hotel. Close to the city centre, Victoria’s Chinatown is the second oldest in North America and its narrow Fan Tan Alley (the narrowest street in Canada at 35 inches wide!) is a must-see – if you can fit. Accommodations are at the Fairmont Empress Hotel in a Fairmont Gold Harbour View Room.

On the fifth day of your journey you will be met by your expert guide for a private cultural tour of Victoria. First stop is Butchart Gardens, a 50-acre horticultural masterpiece. Enjoy a stroll through the Sunken Garden and the charming English Rose Garden… Following your visit, continue exploring as time allows: check out nearby Victoria Butterfly Gardens or the Church & State Winery. Otherwise, return downtown to visit the shops on Government Street and Antique Row, or visit Craigdarroch Castle, a heritage mansion and museum.

Enjoy the exhilaration of racing through the seas in an open-air zodiac on a half-day whale-watching tour. Accommodations are at the Fairmont Empress Hotel in a Gold Harbour View Room.

7-8 | FAIRMONT PACIFIC RIM, VANCOUVER, BC
