Road Trip Through Quebec

Day 1
Upon your arrival at the airport in Montréal, pick up your full-sized rental vehicle and make your way to your hotel downtown. Wander the cobblestone streets of Old Montréal to visit the many interesting stores, galleries and restaurants within steps of your hotel. Accommodations are at Le Saint-Sulpice Hotel in a Deluxe Suite.

Day 2
Explore Old Montréal on foot with your private guide. Learn about more than 360 years of history as you wander the cobblestone streets to Notre-Dame-du-Bon-Secours Chapel, City Hall, Notre Dame Basilica, the commercial Saint-Paul Street, the Old Port and more. Accommodations are at Le Saint-Sulpice Hotel in a Deluxe Suite.

Day 3
Make your way from Montréal to Mont Tremblant, a 1.5-hour drive through the Laurentian Mountains. Take a walk around the village tonight and explore its boutiques, galleries and restaurants. Accommodations are at Hotel Quintessence in a Q-Suite.

Day 4
Enjoy a day at leisure. Take the panoramic gondola to the top of Mont-Tremblant for great views—and to access hiking trails, the observation tower, birds of prey show, the restaurant and more. Other options include golf, and swimming, sailing, kayaking, or windsurfing at the Beach & Tennis Club on Lake Tremblant, Accommodations are at Hotel Quintessence in a Q-Suite.

Day 5
Today you will drive from Mont Tremblant to Sacacomie—a journey of approximately three hours. Settle in to your new accommodations bordering the Mastigouche wildlife reserve. Accommodations are at Hotel Sacacomie in a Lakeview Room.

Day 6
Explore the lakes or the forest of Sacacomie with an experienced guide on a half-day hike. You will learn about the area’s flora and fauna from your local expert. In the afternoon, relax at the hotel or participate in any number of optional activities, including fishing, horseback riding, boat and seaplane tours. Accommodations are at Hotel Sacacomie in a Lakeview Room.

Day 7
On a half-day tour, you’ll be accompanied by a trapper as you discover the beaver’s natural habitat (hut, dam, gnawed trees, etc.) and its way of life. Later, you may observe a black bear feeding. Accommodations are at Hotel Sacacomie in a Lakeview Room.

Day 8
Today’s 2.5-hour drive transports you from Sacacomie to Québec City. Tonight, walk to nearby Place Royale and Quartier du Petit Champlain to explore cobblestone streets, boutiques and restaurants. Québec City is home to more restaurants per capita than anywhere in North America! Accommodations are at Auberge Saint Antoine in a Luxe Room.

Day 9
Along with your expert guide, explore the Old City’s stone buildings and labyrinth of narrow, winding streets on foot. Discover Place d’Armes, the Basilica, Latin Quarter, City Hall, Parliament, Plains of Abraham, and the Citadel. Hear about the lives of those who created and defended Québec City over four tumultuous centuries. Accommodations are at the Auberge Saint-Antoine in a Luxe Room.

Day 10
Drop off your rental car at the Québec airport in time for your outgoing flight. Safe travels!
