The nearby town of Niagara-on-the-Lake—everyone’s idea of what an early 19th century town should be—offers charming accommodations at the Prince of Wales Hotel, allowing you to enjoy excellent meals and relax at the spa. We’ve also scheduled a full-day wine tasting event to ensure you see the best of the area; the Niagara Escarpment has become almost as famous for its viticulture as the Falls are for their 173-foot-high thundering spectacle. Day 1
Upon your arrival at the airport in Toronto, you will pick up your full-sized rental vehicle and drive approximately two hours to the town of Niagara-on-the-Lake. Begin exploring on your own before dinner in any number of great restaurants in town (we’ll have plenty of suggestions for you). Accommodations are at the Prince of Wales Hotel in a Premium Room.
Day 2
Indulge in the bounty of Canada’s fruit belt and major wine-producing region on an all-day culinary and wine tasting tour! Your private driver/guide will take you to four premium wine tastings, one cheese pairing, and a three-course gourmet lunch at Vineland Estates. Accommodations are at the Prince of Wales Hotel in a Premium Room.
Day 3
Enjoy a day of leisure in town and at your hotel’s spa today, or head to nearby Niagara Falls. From the boardwalk, view the Canadian Horseshoe Falls and see on the far side, across the border, the smaller American Falls—or take a boat ride on the Maid of the Mist for an up-close experience. Accommodations are at the Prince of Wales Hotel in a Premium Room.
Day 4
Drive from your hotel back to the airport in Toronto in time to drop off your rental car and depart on your scheduled flight. Safe travels!
