Day 2
Enjoy a private guided tour of Vancouver, famous for its cultural diversity and spectacular parks. Visit 1,000-acre Stanley Park, Chinatown, the North Shore and more, with stops en route for a gourmet picnic lunch and dessert at La Casa Gelato. Accommodations are at the Pan Pacific Hotel Vancouver in a Deluxe Harbour Mountain Room.

Day 3
A scheduled flight will transport you from Vancouver to Bella Bella, from where a seaplane will deliver you the rest of the way to your lodge, deep in the Great Bear Rainforest. Settle in before enjoying a five-star meal featuring seasonal West Coast cuisine and a selection of British Columbia wines. Accommodations are at King Pacific Lodge in an Oceanview Room.

Days 4 & 5
Over the next two days, you will have the opportunity of a lifetime—to view grizzlies, black bears and the rare white Kermode, or “spirit bear” as it is known by the natives, up close and personal. Watch as they greedily feed on migrating salmon. Your guide will know just where to take you for an incomparable glimpse of the temperate rainforest’s most magnificent carnivore. Found only on Princess Royal Island and neighboring islands, this rare all-white black bear is one of Canada’s ecological treasures. Accommodations are at King Pacific Lodge in an Oceanview Room.

Day 6
Choose from numerous eco adventures available at the lodge. Hike through thousand-year-old hemlocks or along white sandy beaches. Explore fjords and inlets by kayak. Go saltwater trolling and fly-fishing for Chinook, Coho, Chum and Pink salmon. Boat to mysterious rainforests, deserted beaches, alpine meadows or gushing waterfalls. View Steller sea lions, humpback and orca whales, porpoises, seals and bald eagles. Accommodations are at King Pacific Lodge in an Oceanview Room.
