This 6-day/ 5-night trip is focused on offering you the ultimate aurora borealis experience. Following two nights in Vancouver—and the chance to explore the city on your own—you’ll fly up to Whitehorse for three nights of Northern Lights viewing. Based out of Uncommon Journeys Wilderness Lodge, you’ll spend a night at The Homestead before heading into the wilderness proper for two nights at the Yurt Camp, where your tents feature glass dome ceilings. The Ibex River Valley is a fantastic place to watch the Aurora Borealis, and we often lay out on the valley floor dressed in parkas on top of sleeping mats, while watching nature’s breathtaking show. Rounding out your Yukon experience will be opportunities to hike, fish, and learn about dogsledding.
