The Itinerary

1 | YELLOWKNIFE, YT

Your experience will begin at the Yellowknife Airport (flight access from Edmonton), where you will be greeted by lodge staff for your journey to the remote wilderness of Great Slave Lake. You will travel by van and floatplane.

2-4 | GREAT SLAVE LAKE, YT

Over the next few days you will enjoy memorable outdoor adventures, starting off with a boat ride on Great Slave Lake to the perfect fishing spot, where you will fish for the lake’s fierce and monster-size Northern Pike. You can also enjoy wildlife viewing and may spot bald eagles, waterfowl, black bear, moose, otter, beaver, lynx, wolf, and even giant wood bison. In the evenings, enjoy hearty meals and the views from the lodge, relax in the lounge by the fireplace, or soak in the wood-stove fired hot tub out on the deck. Accommodations are at the Trout Rock Lodge.
