The Itinerary

1 | VANCOUVER, BC

Upon your arrival in Vancouver, you’ll be met by your driver and transported downtown to your hotel. Depending on your schedule you may wish to explore downtown Vancouver, nearby Yaletown or Stanley Park. You’re in the heart of the entertainment district, with plenty of fantastic restaurants to choose from. We’re happy to make recommendations or reservations for you! Accommodations are at the Sheraton Vancouver Wall Centre in a Traditional Room.

2 | WHITEHORSE, YT

Today your driver will meet you for your private transfer to the Vancouver International Airport. After a short 2 ½ hour flight to Whitehorse, you’ll be met and shuttled to Inn on the Lake, 35 minutes south of Whitehorse. Nestled on the shores of Marsh Lake, the Inn is remote yet residential, and offers guests a taste of true northern Canadian hospitality. After a hearty supper and welcome orientation, turn your view skyward to admire the jaw-dropping northern lights. Accommodations are at Inn on the Lake.

3-4 | WHITEHORSE, YT

On your third day you’re in for an adventurous discovery of the Inn’s surrounding area as you ride your very own snowmobile through scenic trails, taking in the sights along the way. You’ll stop to try your hand at ice fishing, drilling holes into thick ice and waiting for a bite. Fantastic beasts reside under the Yukon ice, and you may reel in a massive trout or Arctic char. Keep warm with a hot drink and lunch by a camp fire while you wait to reel in a fighter. You’ll also get the opportunity to strap on some snowshoes and take to the trails by foot. At the conclusion of your fun-filled day, you’ll snowmobile your way back to the lodge.

The fourth day introduces you to a quintessentially Canadian activity: Dog sledding! Mushing in the crisp winter air is a once-in-a-lifetime experience! On this authentic dog sledding tour, you will be taken for a ride in the boreal forest. You will be exhilarated by the wind in your face as your exuberant team of huskies pulls you over the hard-packed snow and a winter wonderland rushes by. Soak your muscles with an afternoon dip in the outdoor hot tub or visit to the sauna. After another gourmet dinner, admire the dancing lights of the aurora borealis. 5 | WHITEHORSE, YT

Enjoy a day at leisure today, soaking up the wintery scenery from the 90-foot deck or outdoor hot tub. Another evening brings superb aurora viewing, no two light shows are the same! Accommodations are at Inn on the Lake.

6 | VANCOUVER, BC

After a hearty breakfast your shuttle will deliver you to Erik Nielsen Whitehorse International Airport for your short return flight to Vancouver (cost of flight not included in package). Upon your arrival in Vancouver you’ll be met by your driver for your short transfer to your hotel downtown. The afternoon and evening are yours to spend at leisure. You may wish to revisit a neighborhood that caught your eye days earlier, or enjoy dinner at one of the countless restaurants near your hotel. Accommodations are at the Sheraton Vancouver Wall Centre in a Traditional Room.

7 | VANCOUVER, BC

Today you’ll explore diverse and multi-cultural Vancouver with a private guide. Discover Yaletown’s warehouse conversions and boutiques, marvel at the towering totem poles in Stanley Park and the herbal pharmacies in historic Chinatown. Stroll the cobbled streets of Gastown, stopping at the famous steam clock that blows every hour on the hour, easily one of the most photographed monuments in the city. The afternoon is yours at leisure, and you may wish to enjoy a private culinary tour, a harbour cruise or a bike ride along the winding seawall, which wraps around Stanley Park and the Pacific Ocean.

8 | VANCOUVER, BC

This morning you’ll be met by your driver for a short transfer back to the Vancouver International Airport, where you’ll catch your return flight(s) home. Safe travels!
