The Itinerary

1-2 | TALKEETNA, AK

After disembarking from your cruise ship, you will be driven by private transfer to Talkeetna, approximately eight hours from Seward along the beautiful Seward Highway. Along the way, you’ll stop to view wildlife at the Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center, and at The Hotel Alyeska take a ride up the aerial tram to the summit of Mt. Alyeska for unrivaled views of the Chugach Mountains and Glacier Valley. Accommodations are at the Talkeetna Alaskan Lodge, in a Mountainside Room.

Enjoy an unforgettable Denali flightseeing adventure on the second day of your journey, where you’ll enter a world of rugged mountain peaks and glacier-filled valleys. Experience the Great Gorge (the world’s deepest), the Kahiltna Glacier, and a glacier landing. In the afternoon, join a jet boat tour to travel into the wilderness on the Talkeetna, Chulitna, and Susitna rivers. When you’re not navigating whitewater, naturalists will acquaint you with the wildlife and wildflowers you spot on shore. Accommodations are at the Talkeetna Alaskan Lodge, Mountainside Room.

3-4 | ANCHORAGE, AK

Travel to Anchorage with a special stop along the way where you’ll be visiting the Alaska Native Heritage Centre, where you’ll delve into the vibrant tapestry of Alaska’s Indigenous cultures, exploring traditional dwellings, captivating performances, and engaging exhibits. In Anchorage, explore and enjoy dinner on your own at one of our recommended restaurants. Accommodations are at the Hotel Captain Cook, in a Junior Suite.

On your fourth and final day, your driver will transport you from the hotel to Anchorage International Airport in time for your departing flight. Safe travels!
