The Itinerary
1-2 | TORONTO, ON
Upon your arrival at Toronto International Airport, you’ll be met by your driver for a private transfer to your hotel downtown. Explore the surrounding area and pick among the world’s best restaurants for dinner. Toronto is renowned for its multi-cultural array of cuisine, and you’re situated in the heart of it all. Accommodations are at the Ritz Carlton Toronto in a Deluxe Lakeview Room.
On your second day you’ll meet your driver for a chauffeured trip to Niagara Falls, where you’ll experience the falls from both air and sea. Feel the mist on your skin (or hide under the provided raincoat!) as you cruise by the Canadian Horseshoe Falls aboard the Hornblower catamaran. Dry off in the air, as you experience nine heart-stopping minutes soaring in a helicopter above the falls. Once your pilot delivers you safely back to land, you’ll be chauffeured back in time to quaint Niagara-on-the-Lake – reminiscent of an early 19th century town.
3-4 | MONTRÉAL, QC
This morning you have at leisure to explore any Toronto landmarks you haven’t yet seen. Visit the CN Tower or peruse Yonge Street prior to picking up your rental car for the 5.5 hour drive east to Montréal. Spend your evening strolling on nearby Saint-Catherine Street, once known as Canada’s Fifth Avenue. Enjoy cocktails al fresco, patio hopping as you chase the setting sun. Accommodations are at the Ritz Carlton Montréal in a Deluxe Room.
On your fourth day you’ll set out to explore Old Montréal with your private guide. Alongside a local expert, discover how Montréal was settled by the French, conquered by the English, and achieved the status of a great metropolis in the 20th and 21st centuries…while exploring Old Montréal on foot! Walk the cobblestone streets to Notre-Dame-du-Bon-Secours Chapel, Montréal City Hall and the fabulous old banks of Saint-Jacques Street. The afternoon is yours at leisure. Bask in the sun at Laurier Park, rent a bike and discover new neighborhoods, or seek out one of the many pop-up restaurants that crop up during the summer season.
5 | MONTRÉAL, QC
Today is yours at leisure to explore the city of Montréal. Consider visits to Mount Royal, Olympic Stadium, the F1 circuit or the Montréal Underground. Alternatively, let us organize a private culinary tour where you can feast on Canadian staples such as poutine, Montréal bagels, and smoked meat sandwiches. Walk off your food coma with a hike around Mount Royal Park, boasting some of the best views of downtown Montréal. Accommodations are at the Ritz Carlton Montréal in a Deluxe Room.
6-7 | QUÉBEC CITY, QC
Today enjoy a self-guided three-hour drive from Montréal to Québec City. Once you’ve arrived, explore the province of Québec’s capital city on foot. Admire the historic architecture, Québec City being one of the oldest European settlements in North America. You may wish to visit the Citadel, the largest British fortress in North America and official residence of both the British monarch and Governor General of Canada. Hungry? Stroll nearby Rue du Petit Champlain and choose from one of many bistros lining the street. Accommodations are at Fairmont Le Château Frontenac in a Deluxe Riverview Room.
On the seventh day of your journey you will experience an expertly guided tour of Old Québec City. Discover Place d’Armes, the Latin Quarter, the Basilica, Quartier Petit Champlain and Place Royale. Walk the winding cobbled streets and hear about the lives of those who created and defended Québec City over four tumultuous centuries. Spend your afternoon at leisure soaking up the European atmosphere, Québec City is all about the art of living!
