The Itinerary

1 | VANCOUVER, BC

Upon your arrival in Vancouver, you will be met by your driver and transported downtown. The day is yours to spend at leisure, with countless activities to choose from. Hop on a bike and explore the scenic Vancouver Seawall, a 17-mile route that wraps around Stanley Park and along famed English Bay. Take to the skies for a helicopter or floatplane tour of the city, or fill your belly on a foodie tour (additional costs apply). Accommodations are at the Wedgewood Hotel & Spa in a Deluxe Executive Room.

2 | VANCOUVER, BC

Today a half-day tour of Vancouver will introduce you to the culture, history and neighborhoods that this beautiful city has to offer. Visiting the tall totems in Stanley Park, the trendy streets of Yaletown, and the historic cobbled lanes of Gastown, you will learn all about the different faces of Vancouver. The afternoon is yours to spend at leisure. Hungry? We’d be delighted to provide you with restaurant recommendations or reservations. Accommodations are at the Wedgewood Hotel & Spa in a Deluxe Executive Room.

3 | SONORA ISLAND, BC

Today your driver will transport you to the Vancouver International Airport’s south terminal for your scheduled one-hour helicopter flight to Desolation Sound and your luxury retreat on the Inside Passage of Vancouver Island. Start enjoying the five-star amenities prior to your first five-course dinner accompanied by award-winning B.C. wines. All meals and drinks are included at Sonora Resort, with the exception of premium alcohol. Accommodations are at Sonora Resort in a Gold Room.

4 | SONORA ISLAND, BC

Begin discovering your surroundings today on a guided zodiac tour of the sheltered waters, islands and bays of Desolation Sound. As you tour the Bute Inlet, Aaran and Yuculta rapids, and surrounding waterways, stop to view wildlife such as black bear, porpoises, bald eagles, whales, and other sea and land creatures. Accommodations are at Sonora Resort in a Gold Room.

5 | SONORA ISLAND, BC

Today your certified sea kayak guide will introduce you to the water of the Surge Narrows Marine Park. Wildlife flock to these nutrient-rich waters, and you may spot seabirds, seals, porpoises, dolphins, or barking sea lions. The afternoon is yours to spend at leisure, indulging in one of the many resort-based activities or amenities, including: biking, hiking, three mineral pools, hot tub, fitness room, yoga studio, movie theater, or putting green. Accommodations are at Sonora Resort in a Gold Room.

6 | VANCOUVER, BC

This morning you’ll enjoy a two-hour guided hike of Sonora Island, where your expert guide will introduce you to the island’s flora and fauna. This hike is entirely customized to your abilities, and can range from a leisurely stroll to a more moderate hike. This afternoon you’ll board a helicopter flight back to Vancouver International Airport’s south terminal, where a short transfer will deliver you to the International Departures Terminal.
