The Itinerary
1 | COOPER LANDING, AK
After disembarking from your cruise ship, you will be driven to Cooper Landing, with a special stop en route at the Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center for a private Walk on the Wild Side tour, where you’ll get up close with Alaska’s iconic wildlife. Upon arrival at your lodge, settle in and explore the grounds before choosing between a two-hour float or a scenic hike before Dinner. Relax this evening and meet with the Fishing Director to discuss the next two days. Accommodations are at the Kenai Riverside Lodge, in the Lynx Cottage.
2-3 | COOPER LANDING, AK
There are plenty of options at the Lodge to hike, raft, attend naturalist programs, or stroll nature trails. However, we anticipate you’ll want to spend your time fishing. Expert guides are on hand to take you onto the Kenai River, where you can expect up to 8 hours fishing for salmon, the biggest rainbow trout you’ve ever seen, and colorful Dolly Varden. Fly-fishing is available on the Upper Kenai. Picnic lunches will be prepared, with dinner served at the lodge. Accommodations are at the Kenai Riverside Lodge, in the Lynx Cottage.
4 | GIRDWOOD, AK
Depart Cooper Landing for a scenic journey to Girdwood, where you’ll check into the chateau-style Hotel Alyeska, surrounded by towering peaks and hanging glaciers. Ride the Alyeska Aerial Tram for panoramic views of the Chugach Mountains and Turnagain Arm, then take to the skies on a private Prince William Sound flightseeing tour, soaring over ancient blue glaciers and rugged fjords with a glacier landing along the way. Accommodations are at Hotel Alyeska in a Signature Room.
