The Itinerary
1 | ANCHORAGE, AK
Upon your arrival at the Anchorage International Airport, you’ll be met by your driver for your transfer to the Hotel Captain Cook. Don’t miss the wine reception hosted each evening in the Captain’s Deck Lounge, until 7pm. Located in downtown Anchorage, Alaska, you’re perfectly situated to enjoy a gourmet meal onsite at the city’s only four-diamond restaurant. Should you need assistance with dinner reservations or recommendations, we’re more than happy to oblige. Accommodations are at the Hotel Captain Cook.
2 | KODIAK BROWN BEAR CENTER, AK
Today is an exciting travel day, as you embark on your journey to Kodiak Island and the Kodiak Brown Bear Center. From downtown Anchorage you’ll receive a private transfer to the Anchorage International Airport, where you’ll board a flight to Kodiak Island (booked on your own). A short transfer will deliver you to the seaplane dock, where you’ll board a flight to the Kodiak Brown Bear Center. Upon your arrival you’ll receive an in-depth educational presentation and safety orientation prior to your bear viewing adventures. Accommodations are at the Kodiak Brown Bear Center.
3-5 | KODIAK BROWN BEAR CENTER, AK
Each day guests will depart by boat to unique bear viewing locations with expert guides, offering in-depth observation of the Kodiak Bears in their natural habitat. These enormous bears are often just as interested in those watching them, and will put on a show frolicking in the river, hunting for salmon or wrestling in the tall grass. Each bear viewing location is unique, and accessible only by boat. Daily locations for spotting the bears are determined by the fitness levels and physical ability of guests, to ensure a comfortable and entirely custom bear viewing experience. Accommodations are at the Kodiak Brown Bear Center.
6 | ANCHORAGE, AK
Today you will retrace your steps, hopefully armed with countless bear photos and memories to last a lifetime! From the Kodiak Brown Bear Center you’ll board a floatplane to Kodiak Island, and a transfer will deliver you to the seaplane dock. You’ll board a short flight to Anchorage (booked on your own), where upon your arrival you’ll be transferred to the Hotel Captain Cook. Enjoy an evening wine and beer reception complete with hors d’oeuvres before heading to dinner. If you need recommendations or require reservations for dinner we’re more than happy to assist.
