PLAN YOUR TRIP
This trip is perfect for future marine biologists and wildlife lovers! It combines two of the best city attractions in Vancouver and Victoria (an adrenaline-rushing zipline adventure and the Vancouver Aquarium or Science World) with a “walk on the wild side” on Vancouver Island’s rugged west coast. In Vancouver, a two-night stay at the Fairmont Waterfront Hotel puts you in the heart of downtown, close to Robson Street and Stanley Park, while the Clayoquot Wilderness Resort is a perfectly rustic, 21st-century safari-style enclave. Everywhere, you’ll enjoy fine Pacific Northwest cuisine featuring locally caught seafood. Other trip highlights include the seaplane “transfers” themselves—with exquisite views of the Gulf Islands, Strait of Georgia, and Vancouver Island mountains.
*Note: Price is based upon a family of two adults and two children, peak season departure. Please also note the price listed is an estimate, based on availability of room types and all service providers.

The Itinerary
1 | VANCOUVER, BC
Upon your arrival in Vancouver, you will be met by your driver and transported downtown. Enjoy a quick walk on the waterfront to view the Inner Harbour and the Coastal Mountains, or stroll along Robson Street in search of the perfect restaurant or boutique. Accommodations are at the Fairmont Waterfront in a Two-bedroom Harbour View Suite.
2 | VANCOUVER, BC
Enjoy a scenic seaplane flight to Victoria where your morning can be spent exploring downtown Victoria, with its myriad art galleries, and small shops. Don’t miss a visit to Chinatown’s Fan Tan Alley, North America’s narrowest commercial street. Your next adventure will see you whale watching in an open-air Zodiac. Spot seals, sea lions, sea birds, porpoises, plus orca, minke, and humpback whales. A seaplane flight will return you to Vancouver. Accommodations are at the Fairmont Waterfront in a Two-bedroom Harbour View Suite.
3 | CLAYOQUOT SOUND, BC
A private tour of Vancouver will focus on the city’s best kid-friendly activities. You’ll check out the totem poles in Stanley Park, visit the Vancouver Aquarium (or Science World—your choice), explore the colorful Kids Market on Granville Island, and choose from 200 flavours at Casa de Gelato. Late afternoon, a private transfer will deliver you to Vancouver International Airport’s South Terminal, where you’ll board a seaplane to Bedwell River. Accommodations are at the Clayoquot Wilderness Resort in an Ensuite Family Tent.
4-5 | CLAYOQUOT SOUND, BC
From your base on Vancouver Island’s magnificently rugged west coast, you’ll explore pristine wilderness like pioneers (but elegant ones). Travel miles of First Nations paths on foot or on horseback, follow waterways deep into the old-growth forests in canoes or kayaks, or discover abundant wildlife, including bears and whales, on guided zodiac tours. Other options include fresh water and ocean fishing (hunt for dinner!). At night, luxuriate in the wood-fueled outdoor cedar hot tub and sauna. Accommodations are at the Clayoquot Wilderness Resort in an Ensuite Family Tent.
6 | CLAYOQUOT SOUND, BC
Savour your final hours at Clayoquot with another horseback riding trek, hike, or paddle. Later in the afternoon, return to civilization on another seaplane flight, followed by a private transfer to your hotel for the night. Accommodations are at the Fairmont Vancouver Airport in two Deluxe rooms.
