This trip combines four days of winter activity in Whistler with three days of more urban pursuits in Vancouver. With just two hotels—both truly luxurious—you’ll have the opportunity to unwind and really enjoy your surroundings. And while some things have been organized for you, there is plenty of unstructured time for you to explore on your own. Highlights include dogsledding and ziplining in Whistler, and a private tour of the different faces of Vancouver, a city famed for its cultural diversity. Known for its mild winters, British Columbia’s west coast offers plenty to do and see during the winter season.

The Itinerary

1-2 | WHISTLER, BC

Upon your arrival at the Vancouver Airport, your driver will meet you for the scenic 2.5-hour journey along the Sea to Sky Highway to Whistler Resort. Accommodations are at the Four Seasons Resort Whistler in a Deluxe Room.

You don’t need to be a skier to enjoy all that Whistler and Blackcomb Mountains have to offer. On your second day, venture our in the backcountry! Snowshoeing tours provide an excellent alternative and range from serene walks through mountain woods to vigourous treks on the backcountry trails. If you can walk, you can snowshoe! The Natural Mystic Snowshoe Tour is perfect for first-timers. Ride the gondola and beginner chairlift up Whistler Blackcomb, then strap on your showshoes for a trip through freshly fallen snow in Whistler Blackcomb’s most pristine old growth forest. 3-4 | WHISTLER, BC

Enjoy a day at leisure in Whistler. Options include skiing or snowboarding on either Whistler or Blackcomb Mountain, helicopter sightseeing, snowcat tours, cross-country skiing. Or just wander through the village, checking out the shops and cafés before joining the lively après ski scene. Accommodations are at the Four Seasons Resort Whistler in a Deluxe Room.

Explore the hidden beauty of Fitzsimmons Creek and the picturesque forest valley between Whistler and Blackcomb Mountains on a thrilling ziplining adventure. You will never forget this hair-raising, spine-tingling experience! Accommodations are at the Four Seasons Resort Whistler in a Deluxe Room.

5 | VANCOUVER, BC

You will be picked up at your hotel today for the return drive to Vancouver along the Sea to Sky Highway. Once settled, relax and enjoy the pleasures of the big city on your own. Head to the hotel’s CHI spa, or wander into the chic boutiques on nearby Robson Street. Accommodations are at the Shangri-La Hotel in a Deluxe Room.

6-7 | VANCOUVER, BC

On a private guided tour of Vancouver, you’ll visit 1000-acre Stanley Park, historic Gastown, the magnificent Capilano River Canyon, Chinatown, and the downtown sector. Spend the rest of the day exploring on your own. Accommodations are at the Shangri-La Hotel in a Deluxe Room.

For the seventh day of your journey enjoy time in Vancouver, consider checking out the Vancouver Aquarium, poking into the art galleries of Granville Island, taking a harbour cruise, or doing the “Grouse Grind”. 8 | VANCOUVER, BC

Today you will be transported from your hotel to the Vancouver Airport in time for your departing flight. Safe travels!
