Fawn Bluff Exclusive Private Lodge

Nestled within the pristine Bute Inlet in British Columbia’s Great Bear Rainforest, Fawn Bluff is a private lodge offering an unparalleled wilderness experience in the heart of Homalco First Nations Territory.

Spanning 340 acres of coastal forest, the property boasts 15 km of private roads and hiking trails exclusively for your use. Fawn Bluff features a protected bay on the ocean, a mountainous area, and private access to Leask Lake. A network of creeks provides fresh water and partial energy to the property.

On land, the Great Bear Rainforest is a sanctuary for grizzly bears and black bears, where these magnificent creatures dominate the landscape.

An estimated 1,500 grizzly bears roam here freely, their powerful frames and distinctive hump-backed shoulders a testament to their strength. Thousands of black bears, recognizable by their glossy black coats and keen curiosity, also call this forest home. Witnessing a grizzly bear during the salmon run, with its massive paws skillfully catching fish from the rushing rivers, is an awe-inspiring spectacle.
