The Itinerary

Day 1

Upon your arrival at the airport in Anchorage, your driver will meet you for your private transfer to your hotel downtown. Enjoy a private half-day tour of Anchorage, including a dinner at the homestead and studio of Jon Van Zyle, one of Alaska’s most renowned artists. Accommodations are at the Hotel Captain Cook, in a Captain’s Deck room.

Day 2

Today a private transfer will take you to Merrill Field where you’ll board a charter flight to McCarthy, and from there, another short flight to Ultima Thule Lodge. Accommodations are at Ultima Thule Lodge.

Days 3-5

The options are endless at Ultima Thule, and activities are often dictated by nature. Wilderness is unexpected, and so too could be your adventures at the lodge. Options include flight safaris with expertly trained bush pilots, glacier exploration and trekking, salmon and trout fishing, wildlife viewing or downhill sledding on glaciers (anytime of the year!). Day 6

Today board a flight for the short transfer to McCarthy, and then another charter flight to Anchorage. A private transfer will deliver you to the Anchorage Airport, where you’ll catch your connecting flight home. Safe travels!
